I have attended the Annual Conference of Indian Associations of Biological Psychiatry in New Delhi on 22nd and 23rd February, 2025. It was truly a remarkable experience.

On 20th January, 2025 Dr Gauta Saha attended a remarkable Mental Health Conclave at Rajbhaban in Kolkata. The Governor of West Bengal honored Dr. Rajashree Roy, consultant psychiatrist attached with Clinic Brain with the prestigious Governor's Excellence Award. During the opening session, the esteemed Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose delivered an insightful speech on the practical aspects of mental health. Dr. Laxmikant Rathi, the President of the Indian Psychiatric Society and Dr. B. N. Gangadhar, the Chairman of the National Medical Council (NMC) set the tone with their two consecutive outstanding presentations. It was a great honor to participate in the observation of Foundation Day of Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS), hosted by IPS WB state branch. I commend Dr. Sanjay Garg, Dr. Subrata Naskar, Dr. Rima Mukherjee, and Dr. Aniruddha Deb for their outstanding organization of this event. The scientific program was truly impressive, and I must highlight Dr. Debashis Chatterjee's exceptional speaking skills.
I have attended the Inaugural Session of YPCON 2024 - The Young Psychiatrists Conference 2024 held at Nagpur. The conference was exceptional, filled with scholarly discussions and outstanding hospitality, particularly the personal touch. Words cannot fully capture the experience. It is very enthusiastic to meet the young brigage of Psychiatrists. Also meeting with the office bearers of IPS was please experience.
Participated in 10TH WORLD CONGRESS ASIAN PSYCHIATRY (WCAP) organized in collaboration with the Indonesian Psychiatric Association in Bali. I have gained a lot of valuable experiences in the field of academics and engaging with colleagues from various nationsand beside that, also delivered a presentation on the topic of STIGMA ON MENTAL HEALTH. The session was highly informative and interactive. I have been honored to have been appointed as the Honorary Secretary of the Asian Federation of Psychiatric Association (AFPA), with our esteemed President of IPS, Dr. Laxmikant Rathi, serving as one of the advisors of AFPA.
On World Alzheimer’s Day (21/09/2024), I had the honor of engaging in a remarkable program hosted by the Alzheimer's and Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI), Kolkata Chapter. I was privileged to serve as the keynote speaker on the subject of “Prevention of Dementia,” with Dr. Abir Mukherjee charing the session. Furthermore, our distinguished colleague Dr. Debanjan Banerjee made a valuable contribution as a speaker, delivering an exceptional presentation, as is his custom.
Attending the annual conference of SAARC Psychiatric Federation (SPF) was a truly fulfilling experience. It was a pleasure to meet with colleagues and engage in academic discussions, including presenting on "Role of Advocacy in Fighting Stigma in South Asia." Special thanks to Prof. Shehan Williams and the entire organizing team for putting together such a successful event.
Celebrated the Doctors Day 2024 on 6th July with a CME Programme organized by Intas Zonalta Division at Hotel Hindustan International Kolkata. The topic was "Use of Endoxifen in Bipolar Disorder and Beyond". The event was initiated by Clinic Brain Neuropsychiatric Institute and Research Centre, Barasat was attended by approximately 100 delegates. The evening commenced with the lighting of the Inaugural lamp to seek the blessings of Goddess Saraswati, followed by a Welcome Address from Dr. Gautam Saha, Founder-Director of Clinic Brain Neuropsychiatric Institute and Research Centre.
