On 20th January, 2025 Dr Gauta Saha attended a remarkable Mental Health Conclave at Rajbhaban in Kolkata. The Governor of West Bengal honored Dr. Rajashree Roy, consultant psychiatrist attached with Clinic Brain with the prestigious Governor’s Excellence Award. During the opening session, the esteemed Dr. C. V. Ananda Bose delivered an insightful speech on the practical aspects of mental health. Dr. Laxmikant Rathi, the President of the Indian Psychiatric Society and Dr. B. N. Gangadhar, the Chairman of the National Medical Council (NMC) set the tone with their two consecutive outstanding presentations. Following that, two panel discussions on school mental health and the stigma surrounding mental health were both informative and engaging. Each panelist articulated their points eloquently. To wrap up the event, Dr. Manab Santra delivered the vote of thanks, bringing the programme to a successful conclusion.
